ABOUT THE ARTIST

I am Jennifer Smallwood and my passion for photography and animals has been around a long time.  In 1999, I opened Smallwood Photography in Bolivar, TN. I specialize in children and pet photography. I have a special place in my heart for animals and always have. I am happy to be down at their level where I may be licked, jumped on, or get fur in my face!  Currently, I share my home with 6 dogs and 2 cats. I volunteer at the Hardeman County Animal Shelter when time allows, and I also do portraits for Rottweiler Rescue Ranch when needed.  I am the go-to baby sitter for all my friends that have children, and I am a regular teacher for the children’s department at my church.  I also help coach children’s basketball.  I am a proud member of Professional Photographers of America.
